Voices of Jericho: Stories of Jail Diversion

Voices of Jerico: Stories of Jail Diversion is an award-winning short film that shares the stories of three individuals with serious mental illness - Aretha Chambers, Kim Dunlap, and Sammy Ghoston - who have been caught in the criminal justice system. The Jericho Project, operated by the Shelby County Public Defender's Office, helps these individuals navigate out of jail and back into the community.
